Jeweled Pen with Charm Dangle: "I Spy a Little Eye"
This jeweled pen with charm dangle has lots of faerie glitz and glamor--no one will walk away with this "I Spy a Little Eye" ball point pen by mistake--but they might walk away with it on purpose instead!
I covered a 5½" (13.97 cm) medium point black ink Bic Clic Stic with one of my favorite faerie calendar pictures, saved for their beautiful art, and overlaid micro-beads to give it that special faerie sparkle.
The twinkly pen charm was made using glass beads, seed beads, tube beads, crystal rondelle spacers, sterling spacer beads and bead caps, crystals, sterling curb chain, and a rubber o-ring. The pen charm is approximately 2-2½" (5.08-6.35cm).
To refill the pen, gently pull off the black tip of the pen, remove the ink cartridge with its spring, remove the tip of a new Bic Clic Stic, remove its ink cartridge with spring and place it into your faerie beaded pen body, and slip the black tip into place. Discard the unused parts of the new Bic Clic Stic.
Don't want to refill the pen? The bejeweled dangle can also be used as a cell phone charm, slipped over buttons, braided into hair, tied onto sneakers, or slipped over the ear piece of a pair of eye glasses. Let them spark your imagination!
